125 KVA — business-grade backbone
The 125 KVA class typically covers full office floors, banquet halls, small factories and active construction sites. Mid-size CNCs, welding bays, HVAC packs and mixed lighting loads all fit comfortably. This is the most common rental for showroom launches and mid-size weddings.
Silent-canopy units in this band keep noise within acceptable ranges for hotels and guest-facing venues.
250 KVA — industrial standard
Move to 250 KVA when you're covering warehouses, hotels, hospitals, IT parks and MEP-contractor loads. Continuous-duty rated, sized for lift banks, HVAC systems, cold storage, hospital critical loads and multi-tenant floor standby.
This band is the workhorse for long-duration placements — most of Pune's building-standby rental contracts sit here.
500 KVA — heavy industrial
500 KVA class handles manufacturing plants, larger IT parks, high-rise towers and infrastructure projects. Full-floor UPS pairing, chiller banks and heavy production lines all fit. Fuel logistics, cabling plan and refuelling schedule are agreed at the quotation stage.
Which one is right for me?
The honest answer: it depends on your actual connected load, the largest motor / inductive load at start-up, and how much simultaneity there is in your load profile. Two buildings with the same 'total kW' can need different KVA classes because of starting current.
As a rough shortlist: office floors and mid-size events → look at 125. Warehouses, hospitals and IT-park building standby → look at 250. Manufacturing plants and multi-tenant towers → look at 500.
